We actually were signed up to do the Mud Ninja this day. However, after we did the Savage a month prior and saw the special medal, we decided to do a second one to get the snazzy extra bling.
This race we highly suggest. It is fun, beginning friendly and if you can't do an obstacle just go around it - no pressure. It is one of my top favorite OCR.
So the review of the event Savage Chicago:
Terrain - grass, mostly flat, pretty easy
Organization - nicely organized
Cost - $75
Time of the race - 9:30am
Overall - One of our favorite races
Swag - tee shirt and medal and since we did 2 in one year - we got a special medal
My Time - not sure
