We did this race last year and it is one of my favorites. However, this year was different. It seemed more dangerous with the slate rock and water. Some of the obstacles you couldn't not bypass due to the course being in nature and using the terrain (hence the name). Matt didn't like it this year and I have to agree. It was challenging but I felt some areas were dangerous.
So the review of the event Tame the Terrain:
Terrain - mud, grass, hills, slippery slate rock, water, trees
Organization - nicely organized
Cost - $45
Time of the race - 9:30am
Overall - slippery slate rock, some dangerous areas (in my opinion), some fun aspects but not sure I will do it again
Swag - tee shirt and medal
My Time - not sure
