Race Review - Brew Ha Ha 5k

We have done the Brew HaHa before.  We did it last October.  We have done several races with 131 Event Productions.  Great company to run with.

This event was at a different location and the medal was slightly different than the previous one.  Same concept but had a corkboard type design on the back (to signify a drink coaster) and a detachable bottle opener.

We met up with our group and the morning was cool.  Therefore Matt had worn his hoodie, even though I reminded him to dress as if the temp was 10 degrees warmer.  He will never learn.  He crossed the finish line drenched in sweat - haha.

I swear we (Matt, myself and our pal) went to our vehicle a dozen times - to put our packet in there, to go get sunglasses, to go get phone, to go get water, to go get granola bar....good thing we hadn't parked too far away!

Then we were off.  The course was a a road race that went through a decent area.  I never really pay attention to my surroundings when I run.  I focus on the road before me and not much else.  People always say did you see that?  Nope.

I finished the course and there were a handful of our group that finished not far before me.  So we all walked back through the course approximately another mile just to find the last person bringing up the rear of our group and we walked in with them.

We didn't stick around to hang out with them like we typically do.  We plan to do the next Brew Ha Ha in October.
